No Cook Garlic Sauce Recipe
Garlic sauce adds a punchy kick to a kebab meal and is offered as a sauce in many kebab shops alongside chilli sauce. So to complete the Kebab Shop at Home experience, I have developed a quick no cook recipe.
The sauce is garlicky, but mild. If you are a garlic lover who enjoys the burn that garlic can give you increase the amount of garlic to suit your personal taste. Likewise, if you want a hint of garlic reduce the amount by half.
I am hoping that when you see the simplicity of this 4 ingredient, stir together sauce, this will entice you to make it with more than just your next kebab at home meal.
Serving ideas:
A dip for crisps, double or quadruple the recipe for a crowd
A drizzle to make your next baked potato topping more exciting
Added to a sandwich or pitta filled with leftover Sunday roast meat or vegetables
Used instead of mayonnaise in a sandwich
Poured over a green, chicken or couscous salad
- 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoon Greek yogurt
- 2-3 teaspoon crushed garlic
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
- Mix together and serve.
